メルルーサの西京焼き弁当
Grilled Miso-Marinated Hake bento

コーンウォールの魚屋さんで買ってきたメルルーサの切り身。
味噌に漬けて西京焼き風に。
葉付きラディッシュを買って菜飯に。

本日のおべんとう:
  • メルルーサの西京焼き(風)
  • 紅生姜入りだし巻き
  • ラディッシュの菜飯
  • ラディッシュの浅漬け
  • ゆで野菜

Today's obento:

  • Grilled miso marinated hake
  • Fried egg with pickled ginger(Beni shoga)
  • Rice with radish
  • Pickled radish
  • Boiled veggies

I got hake fillets from Rick Stein's fishmonger in Padstow.
Used miso to marinade then grilled.
Rice with radish greens is the one of my hometown's dish.
Just cut the greens from french radish which I got from Waitrose.
Cut in bits, fry them to semi-dry, add salt and sesame for seasoning.
Just add to cooked rice and mix.
Japanese pickled ginger which called 'Beni shoga' in Japanese is very tasty.
It is good to eat itself but I like to add to fried egg.

Here is my first 'Obento' for this blog.
It is quite traditional way of obento style.
